  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to state lands; authorizing sale of certain 
  1.3             tax-forfeited land that borders public water in Meeker 
  1.4             county.  
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [SALE OF TAX-FORFEITED LAND; MEEKER COUNTY.] 
  1.7      (a) Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 282.018, 
  1.8   Meeker county may sell the tax-forfeited land bordering public 
  1.9   water and described in paragraph (c), under the remaining 
  1.10  provisions of Minnesota Statutes, chapter 282.  
  1.11     (b) The conveyance must be in a form approved by the 
  1.12  attorney general.  
  1.13     (c) The land that may be conveyed is located in Meeker 
  1.14  county and is described as:  PID 14-0532-000 Lot 13, Block 1, 
  1.15  Hidden View Woods, 3rd Addition, Township 119, Range 31. 
  1.16     (d) The county has determined that this land has little or 
  1.17  no potential use as a public access or for other types of public 
  1.18  ownership and will realize a higher and better use under private 
  1.19  ownership.  
  1.20     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.21     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
