  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to education; authorizing state bonds; 
  1.3             appropriating money for a school building serving 
  1.4             kindergarten through grade 6 for independent school 
  1.5             district No. 914, Ulen-Hitterdal. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 914, 
  1.8   ULEN-HITTERDAL; KINDERGARTEN THROUGH GRADE 6 SCHOOL BUILDING.] 
  1.9      Subdivision 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] $10,000,000 is 
  1.10  appropriated from the bond proceeds fund to independent school 
  1.11  district No. 914, Ulen-Hitterdal, for the construction of a 
  1.12  kindergarten through grade 6 school building. 
  1.13     Subd. 2.  [BOND SALE.] To provide the money appropriated in 
  1.14  this act from the bond proceeds fund, the commissioner of 
  1.15  finance, on request of the governor, shall sell and issue bonds 
  1.16  of the state in an amount up to $10,000,000 in the manner, upon 
  1.17  the terms, and with the effect prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, 
  1.18  sections 16A.631 to 16A.675, and by the Minnesota Constitution, 
  1.19  article XI, sections 4 to 7. 
  1.20     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.21     Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
