A bill for an act
relating to Kathio Township; authorizing the town to convey the Lakewood
Cemetery to the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1. KATHIO TOWNSHIP; CEMETERY CONVEYANCE.
Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 306.02, upon an agreement between the
Kathio Town Board and the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe Council, Kathio Township may
convey the land and property of the Lakewood Cemetery to the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe.
Sec. 2. EFFECTIVE DATE.
Section 1 is effective the day following final enactment.
