A bill for an act
relating to capital investment; appropriating money for a grant to Camp Fire
Minnesota to build new structures, pave the road and parking area, complete an
erosion project, and purchase a vehicle.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin $1,090,000 in fiscal year 2024 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner
of employment and economic development for a grant to Camp Fire Minnesota, a 501(c)(3)
nonprofit organization, to build a new bathhouse in the day camp area; build a new year-round
program building for the day camp area; build new day camp shelters; build a new boating
area at the waterfront; pave the road and parking area on the property; complete an erosion
control project at the waterfront; and purchase a 15-passenger van for transportation. This
appropriation is available until the project is completed or abandoned, subject to Minnesota
Statutes, section 16A.642. This is a onetime appropriation.
