  1.1                          A bill for an act
  1.2             relating to education; authorizing an additional levy 
  1.3             for certain school districts operating a joint 
  1.4             elementary facility. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [LEVY FOR EXTENDED SCHOOL HOURS AND DAYS.] 
  1.7      In addition to other levies, independent school district 
  1.8   Nos. 622, North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale; 833, South 
  1.9   Washington County; and 834, Stillwater may each levy up to 
  1.10  $200,000 each year for the costs of operating extended year, 
  1.11  extended day, and all day kindergarten programs at the joint 
  1.12  elementary facility authorized in Laws 1995, First Special 
  1.13  Session chapter 3, article 5, section 19.
