  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to state lands; authorizing conveyance of 
  1.3             certain tax-forfeited land that borders public water 
  1.4             in Chisago county. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [CONVEYANCE OF TAX-FORFEITED LAND BORDERING 
  1.7   PUBLIC WATER; CHISAGO COUNTY.] 
  1.8      (a) Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, sections 92.45 and 
  1.9   282.018, subdivision 1, and the public sale provisions of 
  1.10  Minnesota Statutes, chapter 282, the commissioner of revenue 
  1.11  shall convey by deed to the county of Chisago the tax-forfeited 
  1.12  land bordering public water that is described in paragraph (c). 
  1.13     (b) The conveyance must be in a form approved by the 
  1.14  attorney general. 
  1.15     (c) The land to be conveyed is located in Chisago county 
  1.16  and is described as:  
  1.17     (1) Lot 18 of Lilygrens Beach; 
  1.18     (2) Lot 19 of Lilygrens Beach; and 
  1.19     (3) Lot 23 of Lilygrens Beach. 
  1.20     (d) The county has determined that the land is needed for 
  1.21  highway purposes. 
  1.22     Sec. 2.  [TRANSFER OF TAX-FORFEITED LAND BORDERING PUBLIC 
  1.23  WATER; CHISAGO COUNTY.] 
  1.24     (a) The tax-forfeited land bordering public water that is 
  1.25  described in paragraph (c) is withdrawn from sale and is 
  2.1   transferred from the custody, control, and supervision of the 
  2.2   Chisago county board to the commissioner of natural resources, 
  2.3   free from any trust in favor of the interested taxing districts. 
  2.4      (b) The conveyance must be in a form approved by the 
  2.5   attorney general. 
  2.6      (c) The land to be conveyed is located in Chisago county 
  2.7   and is described as: 
  2.8      Lot 4 of the First Addition to Labelle Isle.
