relating to agriculture; appropriating money for ethanol infrastructure in response
to COVID-19.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin Ethanol infrastructure grants. new text end

new text begin $3,000,000 in fiscal year 2020 is
appropriated from the federal coronavirus relief fund to the commissioner of agriculture to
assist corn farmers and ethanol producers negatively impacted by COVID-19 by awarding
cost-share grants to owners of smaller filling stations that would otherwise be ineligible for
federal ethanol infrastructure assistance.

new text begin (a) Money appropriated in subdivision 1
may not be spent until the commissioner of management and budget determines that the
expenditure is an eligible use of the federal coronavirus relief fund.
