  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      $450,000 is appropriated in fiscal year 2000 from the 
  1.8   general fund to the commissioner of children, families, and 
  1.9   learning for a grant to independent school district No. 81, 
  1.10  Comfrey, for losses related to the March 29, 1998, tornado.  
  1.11  This appropriation is available until June 30, 2001.
