  1.2             relating to education; authorizing an early retirement 
  1.3             levy for school districts. 
  1.4   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.5      Section 1.  [LEVY.] 
  1.6      A school district may levy an amount up to $600,000 each 
  1.7   year for a period of two years for early retirement incentives 
  1.8   for licensed employees who have retired early. 
  1.9      [EFFECTIVE DATE.] This section is effective for taxes 
  1.10  payable in 2004 and 2005.
