  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to transportation; providing for expansion of 
  1.3             the advanced parking information system to the 
  1.4             downtown area of the city of St. Paul; appropriating 
  1.5             money. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  [ADVANCED PARKING INFORMATION SYSTEM; 
  1.8   APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.9      $2,000,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the 
  1.10  commissioner of transportation for a grant to the city of St. 
  1.11  Paul to expand the advanced parking information system to the 
  1.12  downtown area of St. Paul.  The appropriation is available until 
  1.13  June 30, 2002. 
  1.14     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.15     This act is effective the day following final enactment.
