BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin $25,000,000 in fiscal year 2023 is appropriated from the general fund to the Board of
Public Defense. The base for this appropriation is $50,000,000 in fiscal year 2024 and
$50,000,000 in fiscal year 2025.
