A bill for an act
relating to capital improvements; authorizing the
issuance of state bonds; appropriating money to the
veterans homes board for the state's share of five
capital projects.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin $6,702,500 is appropriated from the bond proceeds fund to
the veterans homes board for the state's share for the following
capital projects at the designated state veterans homes:

new text begin (1) remodeling of adult day care service building at
Minneapolis, $988,750;
new text end

new text begin (2) renovation of dining and kitchen facilities at
Minneapolis, $1,531,250;
new text end

new text begin (3) upgrade of clinical space at Silver Bay, $1,280,650;
new text end

new text begin (4) special care unit addition at Fergus Falls, $2,633,750;
and
new text end

new text begin (5) Alzheimer's addition at Luverne, $268,100.

Sec. 2. new text begin BOND SALE.
new text end

new text begin To provide the money appropriated in this act from the bond
proceeds fund, the commissioner of finance shall sell and issue
bonds of the state in an amount up to $6,702,500 in the manner,
upon the terms, and with the effect prescribed by Minnesota
Statutes, sections 16A.631 to 16A.675, and by the Minnesota
Constitution, article XI, sections 4 to 7.
