  1.1                          A bill for an act
  1.2             relating to bonding; providing funding for the 
  1.3             construction of a fish hatchery in the Rainy Lake 
  1.4             watershed. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [BONDS AUTHORIZED: APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      Subdivision 1.  [BONDS.] The commissioner of finance upon 
  1.8   request of the governor shall sell and issue bonds of the state 
  1.9   in an amount up to $300,000 in the manner, upon the terms, and 
  1.10  with the effect prescribed by Minnesota Statutes, sections 
  1.11  16A.641 to 16A.675, and by the Minnesota Constitution, article 
  1.12  XI, sections 4 to 7.  The proceeds of the bonds, except accrued 
  1.13  interest and any premium received on the sale of the bonds, must 
  1.14  be credited to the bond proceeds account and used for the 
  1.15  purpose of developing and constructing a fish hatchery serving 
  1.16  the Rainy Lake watershed. 
  1.17     Subd. 2.  [APPROPRIATION.] $300,000 is appropriated from 
  1.18  the bond proceeds account to the commissioner of natural 
  1.19  resources for the purpose specified in subdivision 1.
