A bill for an act
 relating to transportation; designating a portion of marked U.S. Highway 169
between Taconite and Virginia as "Senator David J. Tomassoni Memorial Cross
Range Expressway"; amending Minnesota Statutes 2022, section 161.14, by adding
a subdivision.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2022, section 161.14, is amended by adding a subdivision
to read:

segment of marked U.S. Highway 169 from the city of Taconite to the city of Virginia is
designated as "Senator David J. Tomassoni Memorial Cross Range Expressway." Subject
to section 161.139, the commissioner must adopt a suitable design to mark this highway
and erect appropriate signs.
