A bill for an act
relating to finance; temporarily prohibiting the Pollution Control Agency from
establishing or holding stakeholder groups or meetings.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin STAKEHOLDER MEETINGS.

new text begin The commissioner of the Pollution Control Agency shall not establish a new
stakeholder group or conduct meetings of stakeholder groups until after June 30, 2009.
For the purposes of this section, a "stakeholder group" is a group of industry or other
stakeholders convened by the Pollution Control Agency resulting in increased costs to
the agency. This section does not apply to stakeholder groups or meetings expressly
required by law.
