BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin The secretary of state may transfer funds from the general fund appropriation under
Laws 2007, chapter 148, article 1, section 7, to the Help America Vote Act account in
an amount sufficient to meet federal requirements for interest payments and additional
state match as required by Public Law 107-252, section 253(b)(5), of the Help America
Vote Act.
