1.3relating to education; modifying provisions relating to school bus safety and
1.4standards;amending Minnesota Statutes 2010, sections 169.4501, subdivisions
1.51, 2; 169.4503, subdivisions 5, 20, by adding subdivisions; repealing Minnesota
1.6Statutes 2010, section 169.454, subdivision 10.

1.12We, the undersigned conferees for H. F. No. 392 report that we have agreed upon the
1.13items in dispute and recommend as follows:
1.14That the Senate recede from its amendments and that H. F. No. 392 be further
1.15amended as follows:
1.16Page 2, lines 8 and 10, delete "2011" and insert "2012"
1.17Page 3, line 2, delete "2012" and insert "2013"
1.18Page 3, lines 8 and 20, delete "2011" and insert "2012"
1.19Page 3, delete section 8 and insert:
1.20 "Sec. 8. Minnesota Statutes 2010, section 169.4582, subdivision 2, is amended to read:
1.21 Subd. 2. Duty to report; school official. Consistent with the school bus safety
1.22policy under section123B.91, subdivision 1 , the school principal, the school transportation
1.23safety director, or other designated school official shall immediately report to the local
1.24law enforcement agency having jurisdiction where the misbehavior occurred and to the
1.25school superintendent if the reporting school official knows or has reason to believe that
1.26a student has committed a reportable offense on a school bus or in a bus loading or
1.27unloading area. The reporting school official shall issue a report to the commissioner of
1.28public safety concerning the incidenton a form developed by the commissioner for that
1.29purpose upon request of the commissioner.
2.1 Sec. 9. REPEALER.
2.2Minnesota Statutes 2010, sections 169.441, subdivision 5; 169.445, subdivision 2;
2.3and 169.454, subdivision 10, are repealed."
2.4Correct the title numbers accordingly
1.3relating to education; modifying provisions relating to school bus safety and
1.4standards;amending Minnesota Statutes 2010, sections 169.4501, subdivisions
1.51, 2; 169.4503, subdivisions 5, 20, by adding subdivisions; repealing Minnesota
