A bill for an act
relating to adults-only businesses; requiring notice by certified mail to the
appropriate statutory or home-rule charter city under certain circumstances;
proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 617.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

new text begin At least 60 days before opening a business to provide live performances of
sexually-oriented entertainment open only to persons at least 18 years of age or older, the
owner or operator of the proposed business must give written notice by certified mail to
the chief clerical officer of the statutory or home-rule charter city stating the date on which
the business intends to begin operating.
