A bill for an act
relating to state government; permitting additional former corrections and human
services employees to receive continued employer insurance contributions
following assault on the job and permanent disability.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

DATE.

new text begin (a) Minnesota Statutes, section 43A.241, is effective July 1, 2016, and applies to
a person assaulted by an inmate, client, or patient before, on, or after that date. The
employer contributions required under Minnesota Statutes, section 43A.241, must be
made retroactive to July 1, 2013.

(b) The effective date set under paragraph (a) supersedes all other effective dates
enacted for Minnesota Statutes, section 43A.24, before July 1, 2016.
