  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [ITASCA COUNTY FAMILY SERVICES BASE.] 
  1.7      The Itasca county base, from which family preservation 
  1.8   service funds are determined, was set at $1,660,000 in 1992, 
  1.9   which was an inflated base.  The base is adjusted to $1,300,000 
  1.10  to reflect a more accurate base for the county family 
  1.11  preservation services.  The adjustment in the base is effective 
  1.12  retroactive to January 1, 1999.
