BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin THREE RIVERS PARK DISTRICT ABOLISHED.

new text begin The Three Rivers Park District is abolished, effective December 31, 2011. The park
district must dispose of all assets and liabilities by December 31, 2011. The park district
must offer to transfer park land, including all betterments and improvements, to the city,
town, or county in which the park land is located. Any assets and liabilities not transferred
to cities, towns, or counties are transferred to the commissioner of natural resources.
