relating to public health; reducing human exposure to arsenic; prohibiting sale
and purchase of certain products containing arsenic; proposing coding for new
law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 25.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

new text begin [25.385] ARSENIC ADDITIVES IN CERTAIN MEAT PRODUCTS.

new text begin Chickens or other poultry or pigs that have been fed with feed containing roxarsone
or any other additive that contains arsenic must not be sold or purchased live or in
processed form in Minnesota for any use including sale in retail stores and use in
restaurants or fast food establishments.
