BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin (a) $40,000 is appropriated in fiscal year 2015 from the trunk highway fund to the
commissioner of transportation for a grant to the city of Floodwood for maintenance,
preservation, and administration of the Floodwood rest area on marked U.S. Highway 2.

new text begin (b) The base appropriation for fiscal years 2016 and 2017 is $40,000 each year.
