relating to capital investment; appropriating money for an equipment grant to
public television.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin PIONEER PUBLIC TELEVISION; APPROPRIATION.

new text begin $1,950,000 is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner of
administration to provide an equipment grant to Pioneer Public Television as part of the
station's construction of a new facility in Granite Falls, Minnesota. The money may be used
to purchase and install equipment necessary to the station's operation and is available until
the project is completed or abandoned, subject to Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.642.
