A bill for an act
relating to liquor; allowing sale of growlers by off-sale and on-sale licensees.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin GROWLER SALES EXPANSION; TEST PERIOD.

new text begin A holder of an on-sale or off-sale license may sell growlers of intoxicating malt
liquor, as described in Minnesota Statutes, section 340A.301, subdivision 6d, to patrons
under the following conditions:

new text begin (1) all sales must be during normal hours of operation;
new text end

new text begin (2) sales must be from types of intoxicating malt liquor not otherwise available in
cans or bottles; and
new text end

new text begin (3) all applicable requirements of Minnesota Statutes, chapter 340A, must be met.

June 30, 2018.
