  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to motor fuels; exempting gasoline used in 
  1.3             motor sports competition from oxygenation 
  1.4             requirements; amending Minnesota Statutes 1994, 
  1.5             section 239.791, by adding a subdivision. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 1994, section 239.791, is 
  1.8   amended by adding a subdivision to read: 
  1.9      Subd. 10.  [EXEMPTION; MOTOR SPORTS RACING.] This section 
  1.10  does not apply to gasoline with an octane rating of 100 or 
  1.11  greater sold or offered for sale at a public or private race 
  1.12  course solely for use during off-highway motor sports racing 
  1.13  events.
