  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to natural resources; appropriating money for 
  1.3             maintenance, monitoring, and enforcement related to 
  1.4             recreational motor vehicle use. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [APPROPRIATION.] 
  1.7      $825,000 in fiscal year 2003 is appropriated from the 
  1.8   natural resources fund to the commissioner of natural resources 
  1.9   for maintaining lands and trails administered by the 
  1.10  commissioner and open to recreational motor vehicle use and for 
  1.11  monitoring and enforcement activities on those lands and 
  1.12  trails.  Of this amount, $500,000 is from the all-terrain 
  1.13  vehicle account and $325,000 is from the off-road vehicle 
  1.14  account.
