  1.2             relating to education; repealing the Minnesota 
  1.3             education finance act of 1992; repealing Minnesota 
  1.4             Statutes 1996, sections 124A.697; 124A.698; 124A.70; 
  1.5             124A.71; 124A.711, subdivision 1; 124A.72; and 
  1.6             124A.73; Minnesota Statutes 1997 Supplement, section 
  1.7             124A.711, subdivision 2; and Laws 1992, chapter 499, 
  1.8             article 7, section 31. 
  1.9   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.10     Section 1.  [REPEALER.] 
  1.11     Subdivision 1.  [EDUCATION FINANCE ACT OF 1992.] Minnesota 
  1.12  Statutes 1996, sections 124A.697; 124A.698; 124A.70; 124A.71; 
  1.13  124A.711, subdivision 1; 124A.72; and 124A.73; and Minnesota 
  1.14  Statutes 1997 Supplement, section 124A.711, subdivision 2, are 
  1.15  repealed. 
  1.16     Subd. 2.  [GENERAL EDUCATION REPEALER.] Laws 1992, chapter 
  1.17  499, article 7, section 31, is repealed. 
  1.18     Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  1.19     Section 1 is effective July 1, 1998.
