  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to the state lottery; prohibiting the lottery 
  1.3             from removing certain computer terminals until July 1, 
  1.4             2005.  
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [STATE LOTTERY; REMOVAL OF TERMINALS.] 
  1.7      The director of the state lottery may not remove any 
  1.8   computer terminal connecting a retailer with the lottery's 
  1.9   central computer and used for on-line lottery games until July 
  1.10  1, 2005, if, on January 1, 2003, the terminal was on the 
  1.11  premises of a retailer located outside an incorporated 
  1.12  municipality.  
  1.13     [EFFECTIVE DATE.] This section is effective the day 
  1.14  following final enactment.
