A bill for an act
relating to disaster assistance; appropriating money to match federal disaster aid
for the April 2013 severe winter storm in southwest Minnesota.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; DISASTER AID.

new text begin $....... is appropriated from the general fund to the commissioner of public safety
for the purposes specified in Minnesota Statutes, section 12A.15, subdivision 1, to match
federal disaster assistance for the severe winter storm that occurred April 9, 2013, through
April 11, 2013, in the area designated under Presidential Declaration of a Major Disaster
FEMA-4113-DR. Notwithstanding Minnesota Statutes, section 16A.28, this appropriation
is available until June 30, 2016.
