  1.1                          A bill for an act 
  1.2             relating to state lands; authorizing the conveyance of 
  1.3             certain tax-forfeited land that borders public water 
  1.4             or natural wetlands in Hennepin county. 
  1.5   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.6      Section 1.  [CONVEYANCE OF TAX-FORFEITED LAND BORDERING ON 
  1.7   PUBLIC WATER OR NATURAL WETLANDS, HENNEPIN COUNTY, TO THE CITY 
  1.8   OF EDEN PRAIRIE.] 
  1.9      Subdivision 1.  [SALE REQUIREMENTS.] (a) Notwithstanding 
  1.10  Minnesota Statutes, sections 92.45, 103F.535, and 282.018, 
  1.11  subdivision 1, and the public sale provision of Minnesota 
  1.12  Statutes, chapter 282, Hennepin county may sell to the city of 
  1.13  Eden Prairie, without consideration, the tax-forfeited land 
  1.14  bordering public water or natural wetlands in the city of Eden 
  1.15  Prairie that is described in subdivision 2, under the remaining 
  1.16  provisions of Minnesota Statutes, chapter 282. 
  1.17     (b) The county has determined that the land is needed by 
  1.18  Eden Prairie for park and open space purposes. 
  1.19     (c) The conveyance must be in a form approved by the 
  1.20  attorney general and must provide that the land reverts to the 
  1.21  state of Minnesota if it is not used for park and open space 
  1.22  purposes under applicable laws, ordinances, and regulations. 
  1.23     Subd. 2.  [DESCRIPTION.] The land that may be conveyed is 
  1.24  located in Hennepin county and is designated as PIN No. 
  1.25  25-116-22-33-0003.  It is legally described as:  That Part of 
  2.1   Outlot I, Bluffs West, Embraced within the Southwest quarter of 
  2.2   Section 25, Township 116, Range 22, according to the plat on 
  2.3   file in the office of the Hennepin county recorder. 
  2.4      Sec. 2.  [EFFECTIVE DATE.] 
  2.5      Section 1 is effective on the day following final enactment.
