A bill for an act
relating to education finance; permanently repealing the mandated reserve of
school district revenue for staff development programs; repealing Minnesota
Statutes 2010, sections 122A.60; 122A.61.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin STAFF DEVELOPMENT ACCOUNT RESERVES.

new text begin Notwithstanding any law to the contrary, a school district may permanently transfer
any remaining balance in its reserve account for staff development to the undesignated
balance in the general fund.
