  1.1                          A bill for an act
  1.2             relating to state parks; requiring a plan for 
  1.3             handicapped access trails in state parks; amending 
  1.4             Minnesota Statutes 1994, section 85.052, by adding a 
  1.5             subdivision. 
  1.6   BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA: 
  1.7      Section 1.  Minnesota Statutes 1994, section 85.052, is 
  1.8   amended by adding a subdivision to read: 
  1.9      Subd. 5.  [TRAILS FOR PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED.] The 
  1.10  commissioner shall prepare a five-year plan for using available 
  1.11  funds to construct or modify for accessibility to the physically 
  1.12  handicapped, at least one trail in each state park containing 
  1.13  trails, if feasible.
