relating to judiciary; appropriating money for judiciary, Guardian Ad Litem
Board, Tax Court, Board on Judicial Standards, Board of Public Defense,
Uniform Laws Commission, and Sentencing Guidelines Commission.

The sums shown in the columns marked "Appropriations" are appropriated to the
agencies and for the purposes specified in this article. The appropriations are from the
general fund, or another named fund, and are available for the fiscal years indicated
for each purpose. The figures "2014" and "2015" used in this article mean that the
appropriations listed under them are available for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2014, or
June 30, 2015, respectively. "The first year" is fiscal year 2014. "The second year" is fiscal
year 2015. "The biennium" is fiscal years 2014 and 2015. Appropriations for the fiscal
year ending June 30, 2013, are effective the day following final enactment.

occurring in fiscal year 2013. This
appropriation is available for expenditure the
day following final enactment.

(b) $125,000 each year is for special
investigative and hearing costs for major
disciplinary actions undertaken by the
board. This appropriation does not cancel.
Any encumbered and unspent balances
remain available for these expenditures in
subsequent fiscal years.

$300,000 in fiscal year 2014 is appropriated
to the Minnesota Sentencing Guidelines
Commission for transfer to the Office of
Enterprise Technology for an electronic
sentencing worksheet system. This is a
onetime appropriation and is available
until expended. Any ongoing information
technology support or costs for this
application shall be incorporated into the
service-level agreement and shall be paid to
the Office of Enterprise Technology.
