  1.2                          A bill for an act 
  1.3             relating to elections; requiring disclaimers in 
  1.4             newspaper ads to be legible; amending Minnesota 
  1.5             Statutes 2000, section 211B.05, subdivision 1. 
  1.6                                                  May 14, 2001

  1.13     We, the undersigned conferees for H.F. No. 486, report that 
  1.14  we have agreed upon the items in dispute and recommend as 
  1.15  follows: 
  1.16     
  1.17     That the Senate recede from its amendment and that H.F. No. 
  1.18  486 be further amended as follows: 
  1.19     Page 1, line 14, delete the new language and insert "must 
  1.20  be in a legible text size and font." 
  2.1      We request adoption of this report and repassage of the 
  2.2   bill.
