1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Levi Allen Schmidt of Darwin, Minnesota, for earning the rank of Eagle
1.3Scout.
1.4WHEREAS, the Eagle Scout rank is the highest rank earned in the Boy Scouts of America;
1.5and
1.6WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle Scout in Scouts BSA is an important achievement
1.7that is worthy of recognition; and
1.8WHEREAS, Levi Allen Schmidt, a senior at Litchfield High School, is a member of the
1.9Boy Scouts of America Troop 3353 in Litchfield and has displayed the attributes of a responsible
1.10and serving member; and
1.11WHEREAS, Levi has demonstrated mastery of all Scouting skills and has completed a
1.12community service project, which involved organizing the construction of a gaga ball pit for Oak
1.13Heights Covenant Church in Hutchinson, as well as fulfilled all other requirements necessary to
1.14attain the rank of Eagle Scout on October 22, 2020; and
1.15WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held in April; and
1.16NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.17congratulates Levi Allen Schmidt of Darwin, Minnesota, for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout.
1.18BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.19copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.20Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Levi Allen Schmidt.
