1.1A Senate resolution
1.2honoring champion wrestler Ryan Block.
1.3WHEREAS, wrestling demands agility, strength, timing, and stamina in addition to
1.4reservoirs of psychological discipline and resolve; and
1.5WHEREAS, Ryan Block, son of Mike and Katie Block, pinned all four of his opponents
1.6to win the 2016 Bantam K wrestling tournament held March 11 on the campus of Rochester
1.7Community and Technical College; and
1.8NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that
1.9it recognizes Ryan Block as one of Minnesota's most talented young athletes and congratulates
1.10him on his win at the Bantam K tournament.
1.11BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare an
1.12enrolled copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the
1.13Chair of the Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Ryan Block.
