1.1A Senate resolution
1.2recognizing Elden's Food Fair of Alexandria, Minnesota.
1.3WHEREAS, Elden's Food Fair of Alexandria, Minnesota, is committed to providing the
1.4highest quality food products and customer service to the residents and visitors of the Alexandria
1.5lakes area; and
1.6WHEREAS, the focus of organizational leadership is to support the Alexandria area
1.7community and nonprofit organizations through partnerships, programs, and contributions that
1.8provide access to food and other resources for individuals in need throughout west central
1.9Minnesota; and
1.10WHEREAS, the commitment of Elden's Food Fair to their 140 team members, along with
1.11the organization's history of supporting programs and initiatives that promote the attractiveness
1.12of the Alexandria regional community, plays a key role in the attractiveness and success of
1.13west central Minnesota; and
1.14WHEREAS, the Alexandria Area Economic Development Commission and the Alexandria
1.15Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce are recognizing Elden's Food Fair for their significant
1.16investment and involvement in the Alexandria area in the creation of jobs, wages, and wealth and
1.17support of organizations and initiatives throughout west central Minnesota; and
1.18NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota
1.19that it recognizes and congratulates Elden's Food Fair for its contributions to the people of the
1.20Alexandria area, the west central region, and to the entire state of Minnesota.
1.21BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare
1.22an enrolled copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of
2.1the Chair of the Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to the leadership of
2.2Elden's Food Fair of Alexandria, Minnesota.
