A bill for an act
 relating to public safety; appropriating money for a grant to provide
community-based solutions to improve public safety in Minneapolis.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; LEAD MINNEAPOLIS.

new text begin $250,000 in fiscal year 2022 and $250,000 in fiscal year 2023 are appropriated from the
general fund to the commissioner of public safety for grants to GreenLight Fund Twin Cities
to provide funding to Let Everyone Advance with Dignity (LEAD) Minneapolis to expand
community-based solutions to improve public safety in Minneapolis.
