BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

new text begin $100,000,000 in fiscal year 2023 is appropriated from the general fund to the Board of
Regents of the University of Minnesota to improve campus safety, bolstering the technology
infrastructure with cameras and strategic information accessibility, and provide a safe campus
by increasing security and full-time law enforcement presence. The base for this appropriation
is $10,000,000 in fiscal year 2024 and later.
