A bill for an act
relating to arts and cultural heritage; appropriating money to Children's Museum
of Southern Minnesota.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; CHILDREN'S MUSEUM OF SOUTHERN
MINNESOTA.

new text begin $600,000 in fiscal year 2016 is appropriated from the arts and cultural heritage fund
to the Department of Administration for the Children's Museum of Southern Minnesota
for the creation of exhibits, environments, and studios in a new, permanent location for
the museum. The Children's Museum of Southern Minnesota shall use the funding
to implement the plans developed using previous legacy grants to construct interactive
exhibits celebrating the arts, culture, and heritage of Minnesota.
