relating to counties; providing a coyote and beaver conflict management option;
proposing coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 348.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

new text begin [348.125] COYOTE, BEAVER CONFLICT MANAGEMENT OPTION.

new text begin A county board may, by resolution, offer a bounty for the taking of coyotes (Canis
latrans) or beaver (Castor canadensis) by all legal methods. The resolution may be made
applicable to the whole or any part of the county. The bounty must apply during the
months specified in the resolution and be in an amount determined by the board.
