relating to workforce development; appropriating money for a grant to the pathway
to preservations trades program.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1. new text begin APPROPRIATION; PATHWAY TO PRESERVATION TRADES.

new text begin $285,000 in fiscal year 2019 is appropriated from the workforce development fund to
the commissioner of employment and economic development for a grant to Northern Bedrock
Historic Preservation Corps for the pathway to the preservation trades program for
recruitment of corps members, engagement of technical specialists, development of a
certificate program, and skill development in historic preservation for youth ages 18 to 25.
This is a onetime appropriation and is available until expended.
