A bill for an act
relating to housing; modifying requirements for municipal housing agencies;
amending Minnesota Statutes 2018, section 462C.14, by adding subdivisions.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Section 1.

Minnesota Statutes 2018, section 462C.14, is amended by adding a subdivision
to read:

new text begin A city, as defined in section 462C.02, subdivision 6,
must accept an application to the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency for a project as their
application for local housing money for the same project.

Sec. 2.

Minnesota Statutes 2018, section 462C.14, is amended by adding a subdivision to
read:

new text begin A city, as defined in section 462C.02, subdivision 6,
shall not fine a nonprofit that receives city money for low-income housing for turning in a
late application.
