relating to transportation; requiring the commissioner of transportation to consider
purchasing tires made from biomass-based or renewable materials; proposing
coding for new law in Minnesota Statutes, chapter 174.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

Whenever purchasing tires, the commissioner must consider tires made from
biomass-based or renewable materials. This requirement also applies to district offices.
