A bill for an act
relating to employment and economic development; appropriating money for the
Metropolitan Economic Development Association.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:

$255,000 in fiscal year 2008 and $255,000 in fiscal year 2009 are appropriated from
the general fund to the commissioner of employment and economic development for a
grant to the Metropolitan Economic Development Association for continuing minority
business development programs in the metropolitan area and for contract procurement
support to businesses in northeast and southwest Minnesota.
