1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Steven Lindula for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.3WHEREAS, the Eagle Award is the highest award given by the Boy Scouts of America; and
1.4WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts is an important achievement
1.5that is worthy of recognition; and
1.6WHEREAS, Steven Lindula is a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 93 and has
1.7displayed the attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.8WHEREAS, he has demonstrated mastery of all scouting skills and completed a
1.9community service project, which involved coordinating the installation of a backstop, bases, and
1.10players' benches for an auxiliary baseball field in Big Lake; and
1.11WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held at Saron Lutheran Church in Big
1.12Lake; and
1.13NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.14congratulates Steven Lindula for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.15BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.16copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.17Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Steven Lindula.
