1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Carter Best for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.3WHEREAS, the Eagle Award is the highest award given by the Boy Scouts of America;
1.4and
1.5WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts is an important achievement that
1.6is worthy of recognition; and
1.7WHEREAS, Carter Best is a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 3275 of Buffalo
1.8Lake-Hector-Stewart and has displayed the attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.9WHEREAS, he has demonstrated mastery of all scouting skills and completed a community
1.10service project, as well as all other requirements necessary to attain the rank of Eagle; and
1.11WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held on February 2, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. at the
1.12First Lutheran Church in Hector; and
1.13NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.14congratulates Carter Best for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.15BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.16copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.17Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Carter Best.
