1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Zachary Holmes of Edina, Minnesota, for earning the rank of Eagle
1.3Scout.
1.4WHEREAS, the Eagle Scout rank is the highest rank earned in the Boy Scouts of America;
1.5and
1.6WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle Scout in Scouts BSA is an important achievement
1.7that is worthy of recognition; and
1.8WHEREAS, Zachary Holmes is a member of the Boy Scouts of America Troop 3123 and
1.9has displayed the attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.10WHEREAS, Zachary started his Scouting journey as a Cub Scout in kindergarten; and
1.11WHEREAS, Zachary has demonstrated mastery of all Scouting skills and has completed a
1.12community service project, and fulfilled all other requirements necessary to attain the rank of Eagle
1.13Scout; and
1.14WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor was held on February 26, 2023; and
1.15NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.16congratulates Zachary Holmes of Edina, Minnesota, for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout.
1.17BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.18copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.19Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Zachary Holmes.
