1.1A Senate resolution
1.2congratulating Isaac Mintzer for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.3WHEREAS, the Eagle Award is the highest award given by the Boy Scouts of America;
1.4and
1.5WHEREAS, attaining the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts is an important achievement that
1.6is worthy of recognition; and
1.7WHEREAS, Isaac Mintzer is a member of the Boy Scouts of America and has displayed
1.8the attributes of a responsible and serving member; and
1.9WHEREAS, he has demonstrated mastery of all scouting skills and completed a community
1.10service project of designing and building three outdoor benches for the Jewish Community Center
1.11in St. Louis Park that, together with the planters and umbrella he included in the design, provide a
1.12comfortable resting area for facility users to await transportation; and
1.13WHEREAS, an Eagle Court of Honor will be held on Sunday, June 10, 2018; and
1.14NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Senate of the State of Minnesota that it
1.15congratulates Isaac Mintzer for receiving the Eagle Award.
1.16BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is directed to prepare a
1.17copy of this resolution, to be authenticated by the Secretary's signature and that of the Chair of the
1.18Senate Rules and Administration Committee, and transmit it to Isaac Mintzer.
